Fleece & Warm Layers

Winter in northern Vietnam is less about freezing cold and more about cool, damp air that gets into your bones, especially early mornings, boat rides in Tam Coc and evenings on the street. You rarely need a heavy coat. What works is layering: a warm mid-layer, a light shell against wind and drizzle, and a vest you can take off when the afternoon warms up.

Everything below is sold at our stores and can be tried on before you buy. Sizes run closer to Vietnamese and Asian fits, so it's worth trying on.

1. Fleece & pullovers: your warm mid-layer

2. Vests: core warmth without the bulk

A vest keeps your core warm and leaves your arms free. It's easy to pack when the sun comes out.

3. Light shells: wind and drizzle

4. Pants for walking days

5. Small but useful

  • Knit beanie: for chilly mornings and evenings. 120.000₫.
